Romain says: “I had the idea of an arrow-shaped watch design, with also digits like arrows. In short, an arrow-watch! I also wanted that, at a specific moment of the day, there to be three arrows instead of the digits. For this moment, I chose 11 hours, 11 minutes, 11 seconds.

Laszlo says: What sort of watch display would make heads turn? Perhaps one that looks like only half a watch. The hexagonal case of the “HALF WATCH” is split vertically so that the LCD display screen takes up only the right-hand portion of the hexagon.

Laszlo says: The screen is divided into three sections, each containing two columns of signs. The first section displays hours, the second minutes, and the final section tells the seconds. The first column in each section represents the first digit (10’s place) and the second column displays the second digit (or 1’s place). Each column is composed of 2-4 signs, each representing a power of two.

Fabio Says: Minimalistic dial, based on radars. No buttons. Three concentric rings, each representing conventional clock hands. No buttons (the watch has to be minimalistic). The central ring represents the second hand and its movement attracts attention.

However, transparent displays are uncommon and still appear futuristic to us. An idea of a transparent watch is fascinating to me.
