Design submitted by Lloyd from the UK.
Lloyd says: “Moth” is an LCD concept watch inspired by the giant lunar moth that transported Doctor Dolittle to the moon in the book Doctor Dolittle’s Garden.
The time and date are easy to read in normal mode and, in dual mode, can be displayed at the same time. There is also an analogue mode and, for those who like a bit more of a challenge, a cryptic mode too.
A fun animation plays at regular intervals showing some moths flapping around the moon.
Moth is USB rechargeable via a computer. It also has an alarm and an EL backlight which makes the display easier to read at night. The watch’s case and strap are stainless steel and the display is “always on”. Each of the strap’s links is shaped like a moth.
This design would appeal to anyone who loves quirky modern gadgets, entomology, the Moon, astronomy, fantasy and creativity.
Hopefully, its poetic and imaginative qualities make it stand out from other designs.
Another great design, Lloyd! Brilliant idea. 🙂

Hi Lloyd, beautiful poetic work, as usual.
This is good, a little ludic freshness and it is very often you who brings it with your design.
5* and Yes, obviously.

Fun idea Lloyd, I quite like the look of it, though I would not buy it for myself… I like the clever detail with the craters as hour markers, clear without being intrusive. The animation should attract a fair number of people, and the nested numbers is a nice touch. Well-developed concept, on the whole. Good luck! =)
