V7 LCD watch looks cryptic, uses roman numerals

Design submitted by Lloyd from Australia.

Lloyd says:Β V7 is an LCD concept watch that uses bizarre looking numbers to display the time and date.

The numbers are actually Roman numerals, except that the V’s have been rotated to create 7’s. There is no Roman numeral for zero so it is represented by a square zero.

V7 is USB rechargeable via a computer, and has an alarm. The watch’s case and strap are made from brushed stainless steel and are available in silver or black. The display is available in different colours and is ‘always on’.

This design would appeal to anyone who likes cool modern gadgets, puzzles, creativity, thinking ‘outside the box’ and having fun.

It stands out because of its unique and easy to read cryptic display.

  1. This is cool and quirky and looks very interesting. I prefer the look of the “PLAY” watch but they both have very different characters. 5/Y Best of luck! πŸ˜€

  3. ^ Please don’t say Muschy, it’s just one letter different from a special german word πŸ˜‰

7 = V is a nice little twist that turns everything cryptic at first glance. I like the framing of number pairs. If this would be epaper, PLAY and V7 can be made in one! Good luck Lloyd!
