Peter says: “This is “CC” which stands for “Concentric Chronograph”. I wanted to come up with a watch with multiple displays which are concentric around each other, rather than the traditional two or three small displays mounted on one large display.
This layout allows us to show various different combinations of time, seconds, date, duel time, alarm, stop watch etc together at the same time. This would be technically dificult with a mechanical movement so I chose to use LCD in an analogue style.
The time is shown in an analogue style, either on its own using the three concentric displays or in combination with the date on seperate displays. The LCD is a matrix type which would give more options in the display style. This could include extra numbers, hand styles, extra markers, reverting the colour etc.
Having the multiple displays and display style options gives the watch a variety of looks that will appeal to those who like customisation. It also gives the option of backlighting the seperate displays different colours, adding to that theme.
The LCD gives the watch a technical look which will hopefully attract people who like modern products while the analogue style of the display will hopefully keep the traditionalist interested.
The strap passes through a channel in the case which would also give the option of a fob style strap. This could be used in conjunction with a key ring or cord to suite more people’s styles.
The concentic displays seperates this design from others, the variety of display styles, colours and customisation give the watch a premium feel. The option of different straps give ths design a flexibilty that helps it stand out from the crowd.”

Just great. The time telling is combination of some existing ones but you managed to packed them up in a complicated looking but at the same time, manly design (except for the strap~ steel please….)
Next time we meet at the locker room, would like to see you wear this 😉

Hey Fir, Im glad you likey. The concentric layout and matrix LCD lend themselves to a multitude of different display styles. I have just suggested only a couple of possibilities. The voice in the back of my head was telling me to do a metal version of the strap for Fir, I should have listened! lol
I hope when you say “wear this” you mean the watch! lol

This one looks fabulousl. Nice idea of using two LCD rings to have fun. I think, it’s not out of the box but it found a rarely used corner in the box. But that’s not bad, that makes the watch look elegant when it carries known elements – less danger to look cheesy 😉 I like it cause you can wear it everywhere. It’s readable, looks modern and cool, and you can wear it differently! 5*/YES/good luck sir Peter!

Yeah this one was out of my more realistic but hopefully still interesting pile rather than the crazy pile. I’m liking the elegent tag, not many have my designs have been called that so will make the most.

Although it’s not the usual Tokyoflash style, but we love it! Still has futuristic look even with analogue touch. Great Job Pete.

Great comment FT (TF backwards ^^) thanks. Yeah it has a retro futuristic feel which hopefully would appeal to a larger audience, futuristic enough for cuutent TF customers but conventional enough for the more conservative. Thanks for the feedback! 😀

nice design. I love the time mode 2. I would buy the one with the grey case. I love the chronograph option since I use that, sometime. I love the one with the cord ( the 8th pic ) that could be use as a pocket watch or a sport oriented chronograph.
