Hey Charles, I’ve tried with multi LEDs, but looked too colorful IMHO, matter of taste I believe, yeah noted like the old TF watches… Ni, Shinshoku, Hako etc… That can be considered once this design has been considered

But if you notice the LED used in recent TF watches is different from the previous generation, I think there’s constrain to have multi LED in design like RPM and Night Vision, though not sure

It’s the future in watch form! Love everything about this, especially the steel strap. Great a-symmetric design and surprisingly easy to read the time. Your best design yet (IMO) and definately one of my favourites. Fingers crossed!!!

Brilliant. I have a very hard time picking a favourite, they are all so cool.
Silver/Red or Gold/Yellow look really striking.
I’m not sure I would be brave enough to wear the gold one, but it looks out of this world.
I would suggest some very subtle etchings on the inside vertical track, just to help a little bit with reading the time.
The horizontal one doesnt need it because 1-5 is simple enough at a glance.

Please dont add timemarks on this watch, I really think that would destroy alot. If you have to make it more simple to read then atleast do something other then 1-9 markings with western numbers. Add a small marking on the “5″ or something to make it easyer to add up.

I think with the current layout, the 6 hour onwards as well as 1 minute onwards, can be read easily, the problem might be there when reach 6 minute ~ perhaps when we get to use with the layout and with help of animation that little problem can be solved without having to put marker? … thanks for the input Tzu

this is, simply, an amazing timepiece! a very techno- like feel, with the silver and lights. The gold version would only complement a select number of people, I not among them. I mean, it’s just so cool. I would definitely buy one of these if I had the money. It would be my first choice!

Strange but cool. Little trouble reading it at first, but then I figured it out enough that it could easily become instant recognition after a short time of wearing the watch.
Agree with Toky about maybe adding a notch in the 5 minute mark for ease of recognition (Satellite did a good job of this with the little notches at 15, 30, and 45)

Nice one Firdaus, I enjoy your designs very much. This has a very “super hero” look to it. I agree with Heather to a certain extent about counting to read the time. On the one hand, I like to be able to read at a glance, but on the other, it wouldn’t take long to master this and be reading it quite easily after a couple of days. Maybe some etchings as someone above suggested.

I don’t mind the counting part too much, I own a few TF watches that requie it and it’s not hard to learn.
However, I will say the silver versions are too simple, the mirror finis almost isn’t eye catchin enough, but the black versions are beauties. I’d still buy regardless, but I almost want something more from the silver ones; a design that takes up some of that white space maybe?

Hey Big_O, I always have several variations before decided final work, and there’s reason why I submitted these ones. The color really plays important roles in a design, hmmm. The black version is just fine and more heroic / villain look, while the silver version appeals to something like robocop. Add a fancy color to the case like green, It’ll look like green hornet gadget… or some might say power rangers, kamen raida etc… those are still cool and depends on individuals taste.
Thanks for the input, if you have any, just say it. TF is listening to the reviews when deciding their final design decision.

This is an astonishing time peice here. I’ve been looking at all the different watches in the concept design area and this immediately caught my eye. Now imagine how many people you will attract by just wearing this baby. I can see this watch come to reality. I’ve seen other watches a a lot more complicated that have already been produced. If it were to come out, I would buy this watch as soon as I know it’s available. This is just too inspiring! Frekin love it.

i enjoy the concept for this watch but it needs to be fine tuned.
my biggest problem is anything for this watch with silver makes it look like a retro”future” trekie-esqe design.
now take out the silver or base metal out of each design and put color in its place like you did with the later ones (green,yellow) and it looks pretty good
but with the silver (metal) colors it just looks bland and done and done again

Most inclusive me love the silver element, but I understand people who have different taste, that’s why I created several possible combinations and let the audience chose their favorite. Silver element would add quality look to the watch. Retro-futuristic is always awesome imho. Colorful ones are great too. I believe your comment is heard but I have to agree which either one come out to this world
