I recently submitted a similar idea with time telling in a mathematical fashion (I went fractions and percentages, but decimals are also a really good idea) so this one is a natch 5/y! Kickin’ design, Logan!

I love the shape, design and time telling as is. The only thing I would like to see is an option with either shiny or flat black for the watch.

I think its kind of simple but cool. I would add some words before the time display like ” time now is”…. but blank empty is cool too, more elegant probably. Simplicity is the best. Love decimal. Add back lighting function.

I think the face should be kept round to still have a contrast to the rectangular hole showing the digits.

When looking at the watch from above (like on your design sketches) the shape of the straps and links should be like the Keisan straps. Viewed from the side the straps should be as flat and plain as the ones from the Sensai watch, with the face looking like being put on top of the straps.

I really like the “Decimal Hours”-appraoch and also the case, but would prefer different straps, too. The kind of straps I would have in mind would be more like the straps on the Kisai Keisan. I think a plain surface and shape would support the idea of focusing on the Digits even more.

Logan is back I want decimal hours! It’s time that time gets decimal. Decimal system will conquer the planet, hahaha!

I was about to say, the fun area (where you can see things move) is too small in comparison to the case, but actually its cool when the rest is hidden… keeps the secret and creates a cool minimalistic watch face.

This watch is like an analog watch without dial: you get an abstract value which gives you a rough time at first and when you get used to it, you’re able to tell the time more exactly. I like this watch because I visualize the minutes already… And if I really need the exact time, I just multiplicate by 6. Good exercise

Case and straps are ok, a bit too traditional for me but ok.

I neglected to mention in my description that the rotation of the rings is not continuous — instead, they jump for digit changes. (If rotation were continuous, you would see blanks instead of digits much of the time.)
