Yeah, as I said in my reply to vanszagen above, the frame-less displays is the thing I'm unsure about (since I don't know enough about e-paper and what sort of wiring it needs), but there might be other alternatives... If you need some extra link length, you would adjust so that more of the 2 links that are under the face are more exposed. To shorten a little, you would hide more of the 2 links under the face.
