Samukuns version looks a little too "silent". But the original version has too many elements. Maybe the the perfect watch for me is somewhere between them. Ok besides that I think the starsigns are a cool thing. Interesting. You could add some astronomic and astrological information and make this a cool planetarium watch. The watch needs an internal compass and a gps. Cool thing!

I like the one with circular displays better.

It would be totally worth kudos if the 16-segment displays were red LEDs, like this: http://daduke.org/img/dl1414.jpg (but that would probably be very expensive or impossible to do in this age (even that display has a successor which is dot-matrix))

Thanks, Sam. Of course, you are welcome and encouraged to make suggestions. I can imagine that your proposed layout would appeal to many people, and it's quite nice in my opinion. The circles (which are supposed to have slight domes/bubbles) remind me of the planetarium, of huge telescopes, and of the sky -- I chose them because they feel more like scientific equipment to me, but that's just my personal view.

Awww how romantic :D

Simple geometry, cool options and the main idea about the zodiac signs is very cool. Astrowatch! Outstanding idea! May I make a suggestion for a display layout? Here it is: http://www.abload.de/img/logan-stargazer-alterniog4.jpg I understand the circular subdivisions for the case though, they give the watch some character. Anyway, stargazer is very nice.
