Roman Time Watch Concept

Design submitted by Andy from Ukraine.

This watch design shows time in roman numerals which is not as easy as digital numbers but still gives a clear display of the time.  Just know the equivalent of four letters (I, V, X, L) and you’re good to go.

The overall design – silver casing with LED roman numerals makes the watch futuristic yet traditional.

  1. Hey Andy. Quite like this design. Well done! Could do with brushing up on my Roman numerals though. Like the mix of traditional & Futuristic and the shape of the face.

  2. Has a very European look for me. The Roman watch is a good name for it. Very easy to read for me but wonder if the younger generation can read roman numerals? No Idea.

  3. Think it may cater to ladies more or men who like to wear white in the Riviera, but I like it as I want to be one of those people in the Rivera. Time is easy to read. Maybe nice if the Roman characters had an old look to them and maybe the color or LCD bronze. Brings out the old Roman look more. The white is like a Roman robe. Great for Toga parties!

  4. Too many different elements here. Smooth straps, these details on the case sides, organic asymmetric shaped watch glass, then rational letters. Not consistent this style. I like the roman numbers idea very much though.

  7. I’ve been waiting for a roman numeral watch. I would purchase that, with LEDs. But the watch design needs a reworking.
