Like musical scales, the note below the bottom line is equal to 1 rising to 11 above the top line. The first note shows hours with 12 a double note on the middle line. The second note shows 10-minute time and the third 1-minute time. It is like a line graph where the lines equal to 2,4,6,8, and 10. It should appeal to anyone who likes music especially with a USB option.
David sees this watch with an audible option to play out the time and alternatively using a USB connection each note could trigger different themes so you could tell the time without having to look at the your watch.

Sounds like a wonderful concept just not clear on the time never learned how to read music. Visually 5 stars! I think many must like this design if it shows the time just as in a musical composition.

I like the musical theme and the blue and orange theme but it’s not really exciting. The idea has potential I think though. Would be nice to make the display a bit more dynamic.

I like the combination of blue and yellow LEDs. Nice if it’s constantly on and the lines are flickering, then press the button and you’ll see solid lines.

Really like the display & choice of colours.
I read the description about 4 times & I looked at the pictures & tried my hardest to understand, but I dont know what the heck is going on – ha ha!
I get the feeling i’m missing something simple & its not too hard, but I just don’t get it without a better explanation.

Hi Onisan,
It is very easy to read. Think of the lines as if they were scales on a graph representing 2,4,6,8 and 10.
The first note signifies hours so if it is on the bottom line it would be 2 o’clock and the top line 10 o’clock.
below the bottom line would be 1 o’clock and above the top line is 11 o’clock. To show 12 o’clock the note is placed on the 6 o’clock line with a hollow center (which signifies a double note in music) 2×6=12.
The second note uses the scale in the same way to demonstrate minutes x 10 and the third note minutes.
In the above examples you have 11 x hours, 1 x 10 minutes and 6 x minutes.
The next shows 6 hours x 2 (double note) =12, 3 x 10 minutes and 4 x 1 minutes.

TIme reading is hard. Even if you know how, it takes more than 5 seconds (my little rule). But thats learnable 🙂 Maybe it would be less confusing if you used plain rectangles instead of four lines for the indicators. Or how about black lines on white ground and simple circles – just as you write musical notes. You can have a hollow one to indicate am or pm then.
