A pocket watch with a difference. This bluetooth concept connects to your mobile phone or bluetooth mp3 player so that you can control music and answer calls.

You can connect earphones to answer calls and there’s an integrated microphone so that you can talk directly to the device.

The polished stainless steel case has a smoked black lens and an LCD display that is backlit with colored LEDs so that you can select a color for the display.

The time is displayed simply; hours in digits, groups of five minutes in orange and single minutes in yellow. Call and message notifications are also indicated. The design is finished with a chain for classic styling.

  1. Very nice indeed. This watch of course is amazing. it has the polished fancy look of a simplistic pocket watch, and then you look at the led and see that it’s technogically advanced in every way. And with the black face when it’s not lit is even great looking in contrast to the polished case and chain. overall this watch is amazing, and i wouldnt change a single thing about it. very nice indeed.

  2. A good idea to make a pocket watch, it’s radically different from the one I own, a mechanical piece from year 1870 🙂

    The use of the Data 70 font for the numbers gives the watch an end of ’70s look which is very nice.

    As far as I know, there are a very few bluetooth watches on the market. FOSSIL has been selling a watch of this kind, which was displaying caller number only.

    The case and face design also look great, not really anything that I can pinpoint that needs to be worked on.

  7. I would buy this watch myself, This is like the first Modern Pocket watch I ever seen. Knowing me i might buy 2 and turn one into a necklace just so i can have it in 2 styles.

  9. I’ve always been on a look out for a modern pocket watch, but I have never found one. I should have expected that tokyoflash would be the first place to show a digitalized design. If the chain is going to be included, could you please make it stainless steel. (I hate the look of silver, and I would like it to match my other chrome items)

  10. Does anyone have any thoughts or comments on the Bluetooth functions of this pocket watch?

    • Would the watch have another way of notifying you of a call (sound, vibrate?) other then just lighting up and saying call on it? I don’t always check my watch and a pocket watch would probably be in a pocket and a call might go unnoticed. Also would it be usable with an iPhone? Other then that I’ve always wanted a pocket watch and this is right up my alley. Bluetooth or no I will by this if it is put into production as is 🙂

      • Thanks for the feedback, a vibration function would be useful. It would be compatible with iPhone as iPhone has Bluetooth.

      • Yes it does have Bluetooth but is notorious for not working with a lot of different devices. It seems it can only recognize a limited number of Bluetooth protocols and I would just want to verify that it would indeed be fully functional with the iPhone. Just a concern I know some people would have. Thank you for your time.

    • I honestly do not see much value in the bluetooth functionality for this watch. All of the initial comments have been around the design combining modern tokyo flash LED design with the vintage pocket watch. I do not see myself talking in to the device with the built in microphone, or plugging in headphones. We all have iPods or iPhones, etc with a huge arrangement of accessories today. I would imagine the appeal is to wear the watch as a normal pocket watch, which puts it out of convenience for picking up calls or controlling an mp3 device. I would rather increase the quality and focus to the chain, case, and LED design. Any other thoughts?

    • I think it’s the best part of the watch, other than the design.

      I’m not sure whether or not I’d use the headphone jack for mp3s, as I might just plug my headphones directly into my phone just as easily, but the lightup call indicator and microphone are brilliant and a prime selling point, to me (maybe a speaker as well?). Also the silver and black, simple, sleek, geometric design — which I think is missing from a lot of the watches since the passing of the Oberon. : (

      Perhaps it should be offered in both pocketwatch and wristwatch models — I’d be even more likely to buy it with a nice black leather strap!

  12. Personally I’m not a big fan of open faced pocket watches and would prefer it to have a cover.

    I agree with epic in that the appeal of this watch to me is to use it as a pocket watch, and I don’t see myself using it to talk into or plug headphones into.

    I don’t think that the Bluetooth is completely useless, I like how it would notify me of incoming/missed calls and sms.

  13. I for one would love to buy this item should it be made.

    My phone’s vibrate is extremely weak, and i sometimes fail to feel it when i get a call or text, so the bluetooth would be useful in that sense

    I love the design, the sleek face and classic silver design really work well together, bringing an old form of checking the time up to date. the colourful LED display also works well, bringing vibrant colour into the design.
    About the size of the watch, it shouldnt be too big, maybe a 4/5cm diameter? Give or take a bit.

    Also, im not too sure about having a speaker in. Depending if you want a good quality one for music playing, or a small one for say a ring tone, it might compromise the size of the watch.

  14. This watch is indubitably a must have !

    I use an old pocket watch as my everyday watch and 4,5cm is an ideal size.
    As for it’s functionalities, bluetooth is very nice for signalling an incoming sms or call via vibration and display.
    I’m not sure if a speaker would be usefull, but maybe just a twitter emitting small bips.

    I can’t wait to get my hands on one !

  15. Just wondering about the power consumption if the bluetooth is on constantly? It would be helpful to have a button to press to turn it off, when not in use i think, if that hasnt been thought of previously,

    • I think it would automatically shut down when not in use for a certain time to conserve battery power.
